Worship
Worship is the heart of our Church life. Here we come together
in the presence of God to hear God’s word and to respond in
faith. In worship we sing God’s praises and listen for God’s
calling in our lives. Come rejoice in God’s goodness with us!

First Light worship
First Light worship is
a joyous, fun filled celebration of God’s light in our lives. Music
(led by our terrific worship band), personal prayers, thoughtful
meditations on scripture, lots of visuals and action for the kids
make First Light a energetic and hopeful worship experience. Many
of our people think First Light is the highlight of their week.
First Light meets at 9:00 AM. Nursery is provided. |

Special First Light Feature for
little children: Children’s Church
At First Presbyterian
we know that little children can’t sit for long. So little children,
ages 3-3rd grade, attend the early part of First Light worship and
then go to Children’s Church for a special age appropriate worship
time. The children enjoy Bible stories told with wood figures or
flannel board, songs, dance, prayers, crafts and fun play. Our
children love it! |
Traditional Worship
Traditional worship approaches God with wonder
and reverence. Our wonderful new pipe organ lifts the
congregation into the presence of God with song. Thoughtful
meditation on the scriptures, personal prayer, and delightful
choral and bell choirs make for an inspirational service. Come
to experience the awe of God’s presence. Traditional worship
meets at 11:00 AM. Nursery provided. |
