Seniors

Seniors at First Presbyterian are a special group. We have lots of them! They are involved in every aspect of the ministry of the church. Visiting the homebound, assisting with Bible School, providing valuable insights in Bible study and caring for our babies in the nursery are just some of the ways our seniors serve the church. At First Presbyterian we appreciate all our seniors!

VIPS

Senior adults (55+) today enjoy active social lives and a variety of recreational activities. Our Very Important Presbyterian Seniors group at First Presbyterian offers much to such folk.

Each month the VIPs enjoy a home cooked luncheon on the fourth Tuesday at 11:30. Lunch is followed by a brief program of interest. Recent programs have included a barbershop quartet, antique cars, tips on gardening, a “50's bash”, and Christmas in July!

 The group also takes frequent road trips to places of interest.
Those wishing to attend may call the church office to make reservations for the next luncheon (651-9493). Remember, the only visitors we have are those that are attending for the first time. After that, we hope you’ll be one of us!
