We’ve got a new "look" (and sound!)

(Click on picture for larger view)

If you peek though the windows at the back of the sanctuary you will see the newly constructed wainscoting and light colored walls.  Our worship space is a wonderful combination of beauty, light and tradition.

Our congregation offers two different worship services to meet diverse worship needs. The new sanctuary is designed to help everyone be with God in worship.

Some special features include an open, flexible stage with many uses.  It will house the band for First Light and the organ and choir loft for traditional worship, or everything can be removed to make room for a theatrical set for drama presentations.  All of the worship furniture has been newly refinished and the new wainscoting was designed to match.  The beautiful stained glass window from the "old church" has been cleaned and equipped with new lighting to be the focus of our worship space.  A lovely wood floor warms the chancel, and we have new carpet and pew cushions - very comfy!

The new organ installation has just taken place.  We are the proud new owners of a Martin Ott two manual organ with 34 ranks of pipes set in 29 stops.  What a fabulous addition to our traditional worship service. We are looking forward to the dedicatory recital by Dr. Albert Bolitho in the fall of ‘08.
