Grow Your Faith

Growing your faith is a life-long journey.  We have opportunities for little children to the oldest among us, and it’s never too late get started!  Most people think of weekly classes or Bible studies to grow your faith.  We have those.  We also have some special short term events that provide a quick boost - like Presbyterian Pilgrimage retreats for adults, regular youth retreats and Bible School for children.

Christian Education

We have wonderful Educational opportunities for all ages at First Presbyterian. Sunday morning offers a variety of classes for kids and adults. Our children’s programs feature Bible learning with fun activities that connect faith to life. Our youth change topics and teaching styles every four to eight weeks to keep up with their faced paced minds! We believe it is a sin to bore a kid. We tackle tough issues with our youth and explore their questions. Our adults are studying the Nooma series which offers short video presentations on modern faith topics. Then they dive into lively discussion of issues raised.

Women Bible Study

                                                     Starting Sept 11th

Need a cup of coffee or tea and a little quality conversation? Come to Tuesday morning Bible Study at 9am. This study is just for women and led by Diane Wendt. The topic is Beth Moore's book "The Book of Daniel". Come for the friendship. Come for the support. Come for the snacks! Come just for fun! Child care provided.

Mid week Bible Study

Pastor Mike leads an evening Bible Study every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 7:30 during the fall and winter months. For those who have children in our music clubs this is a great opportunity for a little “faith growing” with the comforting of knowing your children are well cared for. Mike’s Bible study starts from the scripture and moves to life issues. Come join us and grow in your faith and knowledge of the Word.
